Based on hundreds of reviews of science curriculum, we teamed up with EdReports to create a resource about the most important design features for curriculum developers and educators to understand.
NextGenScience works alongside educators to support the design of quality, coherent K–12 programs that align science standards, instructional materials, professional learning, and assessments to support meaningful science experiences for all students.
What We Do
Science Instructional Materials and Assessment Reviews
Through materials reviews, we aim to create a shared vision and common understanding about what materials designed for today’s science standards look like.
“We did the work, and the [NextGenScience] facilitators were there to guide and support us. They did not just tell us the information. They had us analyze it and figure it out.”
Elementary School Teacher
“[NextGenScience] expertly drove the discussion toward rigor and engagement for ALL students. Each of us left with a better suite of professional tools, an expanded network, and an increased ability to reach our teachers and students.”
District Science Network Leader
“One of the major impacts of [the NextGenScience] partnership is that we’ve developed a learning and leadership team across the districts. Now we have a tight network, and we can continue to share what’s working and what’s not.”
Regional Science Leader
“[NextGenScience’s EQuIP] feedback was incredibly detailed and gave us ideas for how to make our work better and where to find support to make it better.”
